When Ko-Lab moved to the location in the Potterijstraat we discovered glass tiles under a layer of grime. Soon the idea to turn it into a light up floor came up and that evolved into making it a functional display. The LED floor was an 11 x11 RGB led matrix consisting of high power LED's.
Over the years multiple people have played around with it. Because it is a physical object that you can interact with trough code it's a great way for people to take their first steps into programming.
The electronics were taken down when we moved. We hope to revive it some other way in the future.

Multiple ideas have come up, a mobile floor, an LED table or an LED wall. When a suitable location or event presents itself the project will likely make a comeback or a second version might be made.
